When did Praise Church begin?
Praise Church
began as a vision in the heart of Pastor Sonny
Wahl, and came into fruition in April of 2004,
in Prairieville, Louisiana. The church was
pioneered by Pastor Sonny Wahl and his family,
beginning in a small elevated camp. In 2004,
Praise Church leased a piece of property in Prairieville, Louisiana. Today,
the church is still growing, having expanded the
facilities twice. But more than building
buildings, Praise Church has built people into
who He has called them to be through the power
of the Word of God. Praise Church is proud of
its history, thankful for its present, and
anxious for its future!
How do you become a member?
Praise Church does not presently have a formal
membership process. If you are a regular
attendee, then you are considered a member. All
are welcome!

Praise Church is located in Prairieville at
17005 Airline Highway, just south of Baton
Rouge, LA.

Church. We feel that God has called us to
strengthen families for life. Here, ministry is
available to everyone, from small children, to
the elderly. At Praise Church, there is

Do you have something for my kids?
Praise Church is dedicated to seeing everyone
ministered to when they come. Children and
teenagers are no exception! We have exciting
classes that will appeal and minister to
children of all ages! We believe your kids will
enjoy coming to church.
