"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." "For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened."
Mathew 7:7, 8

"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it." "Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it." Mathew 7:13, 14

Here is a key that is so often missed. If we will seek God diligently, we will find Him.

Behold I stand at the door and knock. This phrase beckons the heart of mankind to respond to the truth, beauty, and goodness of God as revealed by Jesus.

The Good Shepherd gives His life to save the one lost. Would He do any less when He knocks at the door of our heart? If Jesus hears the faintest invitation of faith behind an unopened door, will he help open that door to save His sin-weakened child within? Hope eternal is that He will destroy the door and all else that separates us by keeping His steady hand on it's latch.

You have not arrived here by chance. His desire to have a relationship with you keeps Him at the door waiting for your decision to pass through.

"I am the door. If any man enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture."
John 10:9
